Pepper (kurumulaku) is a spice used as a seasoning for curries,eggs etc.
The fruit/seed is dried and usually used as a powder.
For propagation certain portions of the vines are cut and used.
Bush pepper is obtained by planting a particular portion of the vine
and it is usually grown in flowerpots as a small bush.
